Resources to Stay Safe During Uncertain Times

In light of recent political unrest and rising tensions, many of us are feeling a mix of anxiety, concern, and uncertainty. At Texas Community Counseling, we know how deeply external events can impact our mental and emotional well-being. That’s why it’s important not only to care for your mental health, but also to stay informed and know where to turn if you witness or experience a potential threat.

Here are trusted resources to help you stay grounded, secure, and supported:

National & Government Safety Resources

1. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA)

CISA is a U.S. Department of Homeland Security agency offering cybersecurity best practices and protective measures for individuals, organizations, and critical infrastructure.

2. Nationwide Suspicious Activity Reporting (SAR) Initiative

The NSI is a collaborative effort between DHS, the FBI, and local law enforcement to identify and report potential threats of terrorism or related criminal activity.

3. "If You See Something, Say Something®" Campaign

An easy way to remember our shared responsibility in reporting suspicious activity. Threats, including online behavior, should be reported to local authorities or the FBI.

Mental Health and Emotional Support

Texas Community Counseling is here to support your mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Anxiety, fear, and uncertainty can take a toll — but you don’t have to carry it all.
